To use the product a simple registration process is required to enable upload of link data, and to email the Excel spreadsheet containing the link report back to you.

Registration assigns you a user name and password to log in to an upload console. This upload console allows the Yahoo Site Explorer or Google Webmaster Tools link downloads to be used to crawl the web for anchor text and everything else included in the report.

Simple instructions to get the files:

To download links from Yahoo first enter linkdomain:domain.com, replacing domain.com with your domain name.

Next set the page to show links for the entire domain but not including internal links as shown below in the red box on the left.

To export the links click the TSV link on the right side of the page.

Google Webmaster Tools

If you don't have a Google Webmaster Tools account we suggest you get one.

If you have a lot of backlinks then the 1000 link Site Explorer limit may be history for your domain since Webmaster tools download limit far exceeds that. For those with fewer links, Site Explorer generally shows more links than Webmaster tools.

Downloading links here is simple as shown by the red rectangles on the below image.

After downloading the links, simply log in to the upload console, browse to the file on your hard drive and click the upload button. Your link analysis report will be mailed to you within a short period of time.

Oh, by the way, if you redirect links from other domains, we can identify them for you too, anchor text and all!
