Has my Website been Banned
A website is generally only banned if the search engine terms of service were violated.
Banned means that pages were included in the index in the past and now none of them are listed, or only the home page.
The following query will display all pages listed for microsoft.com on Google, Yahoo, and Live search engines:
site:microsoft.com
The site command does not work on Ask and meta-search engines. Replace microsoft.com with your domain name to view
indexed pages for your site.
If you were banned
A request for re-inclusion can be submitted if you have been banned or removed from an index.
The request for re-inclusion link is found below for Google, Yahoo, and Live.
Google
Login to Google webmaster tools is required
Yahoo
Live
An explanation of what you changed to "right the wrong" is necessary when submitting a request for re-inclusion.
